The world turned against Israel!

Once again the world is turned against Israel as she tries to defend her borders.  Ezekiel says the whole world will turn it’s head when her enemies come against her.  That’s not to far off now. Here is a classic example of one sided news stories!  The Palestinians attack, hey no problem, but if Israel attacks, they have to explain every detail to the world!  No I don’t want innocent lives taken, but in war isn’t that what happens!? Why does Israel always have to play nice and fair when their neighbors are always playing dirty!  WAR is WAR!  It’s bad on any side so let’s stop taking the side of the terrorists!

 

Palestinian mother, 4 children killed in Gaza carnage

GAZA, April 28 (Reuters) – Israeli fire hit a house in the Gaza Strip on Monday while a family was eating breakfast, killing six Palestinians, including four children and their mother, residents and medical workers said. 

Israel challenged the account, describing the deaths as tragic and saying they occurred when an aircraft fired at two militants carrying bags filled with munitions that detonated and destroyed the home in the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun. 

Local residents said no militants were killed in the explosion. 

“They have wiped out my family,” said the children’s father, Ahmed Abu Meateq, blaming Israeli forces and weeping as the bodies were prepared for burial. 

The carnage cast another shadow over Egyptian efforts to forge a ceasefire between Israel and militant groups and end violence threatening U.S.-brokered Palestinian statehood talks. 

“This aggression does not serve efforts being exerted to achieve calm, and it obstructs the peace process,” Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, referring to Israel’s military activities, said in a statement carried by WAFA news agency. 

Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak, without giving details of the raid in Beit Hanoun, said Hamas Islamists controlling the Gaza Strip bore overall responsibility for casualties among non-combatants because gunmen “operated among civilians”. 

The army said in a statement late on Monday it was probing the incident and would report its findings within 48 hours. 

Medical officials and residents of Beit Hanoun, an area where militants frequently fire rockets at Israel, said an Israeli projectile smashed through the ceiling of a one-storey house where a family was having breakfast. 

They said four children — siblings whose ages ranged from 1-1/2 to 5 years old — and their mother were killed in the house during what the Israeli military described as an operation against rocket launching crews and snipers. 

“They were eating and they were hit,” a neighbour said at the site, where chickens pecked at a bloodstained floor and cooked potatoes grew cold in a pot. 

A 17-year-old Palestinian civilian who was passing by the home was also killed in the explosion, medical workers said. 

Mark Regev, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, called the death of the family a “tragic incident”. 

“We make every possible effort to prevent civilians from being caught in the crossfire,” Regev said. 

Separately, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian gunman from Islamic Jihad during fighting in the town, the group said. 

Another Palestinian militant was shot dead later in the day, according medical workers. 

MISSILES, SHELLS 

The Israeli military said aircraft and a tank unit fired at groups of gunmen that tried to approach troops in the town but no houses were targeted. 

Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz el-Deen al-Qassam brigades, said it fired three rockets at the Israeli border town of Sderot in response to the Beit Hanoun killings. There were no reports of casualties in Sderot. 

Hamas described deaths in Beit Hanoun as a “war crime”. The group has offered Israel a six-month truce if it lifted an embargo on the territory. 

After the latest violence, leaders of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Popular Resistance Committees and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine travelled from Gaza to Cairo for talks with Egyptian intelligence officials on a possible ceasefire with Israel. 

Israel has balked at entering into a formal agreement with Hamas, which is officially committed to its destruction, but has said it would have no reason to attack in the Gaza Strip if Palestinians stopped their rocket fire. JOSEPH WAS PREPARED FOR THE FAMINE…ARE YOU???

In the book of Genesis, when the famine came to the land of Egypt, Joseph was prepared.  Why?  Because God warned Him through a dream of Pharoah’s and gave Joseph a gift that would allow him to be prepared.  The whole point of Pharoahs’ dream was to warn Joseph of the coming famine so that the hebrew people would be saved!(Gen.41-50).Amos 3:7 tells us that Surely Adonai does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.  Once again the people of God,(who are awake), can see this same senario happening again!  Through the words of the secular media we hear daily warnings of an impending food shortage.  It is happening all over the world and it’s coming here as well.  Yes right here in the good old US of A.  Not many people are really even paying attention, and those who are tend to be focused on whose to blame for it.  Of course it’s important to realize that there are big corporations that will benefit from the shortage and there are governments who are involved in the planning of one.  However, it is equally important to know what to do about.  Yeshua told us that in the last days there would be famines,(Matt. 24:7-8), He said that this was just the beginning of sorrows.  With this in mind we should start to prepare.  Looking back at Joseph we know the answer is simple, STOCK UP!!!!!!  If you haven’t already started a stock pile of food, do so now.  The most important items are obvious, WATER, canned goods, bath tissue, first aid supplies, medications.  Some of these things are not food, but remember, when store shelves get bare, people will panic and everything will be taken.  Prepare as if a big storm was coming because one is!  Trust in God and don’t panic!  Remember Amos 3:7, look at Joseph and be assured that Gods people were saved, and use the wisdom God has given you!  Prophecy is being fulfilled!

War with Israel is possible and we are getting ready – Assad

The Syrian ruler Bashar Assad made this statement in a speech in Damascus reported Thursday, April 17.

Earlier this week, DEBKAfile’s military sources reported that Damascus has deployed the 10th armored corps at the Massaneh crossing of Mount Hermon. It links up with the northwestern positions the 14th division took up last month on the Syrian-Israeli border which cuts through the Hermon range.

Syrian troops are now strung along a continuous crescent-shaped line from the central Lebanese mountains through Mt Dov on the western slopes of Mt. Hermon and up to southeastern Lebanon. This deployment, commanding Syria’s Israeli and Lebanese borders, is under the command of the president’s brother, Maher Assad.

The 10th armored corps was moved forward straight after Syria’s snap civil defense exercise which crashed after three hours last Thursday, April 10. The exercise was ordered without notice by president Bashar Assad on the last day of Israel’s five-day homeland defense drill.

DEBKAfile’s military sources are criticizing Israel officials for attributing Syria’s latest military movements to domestic troubles inside the Syrian leadership. They say this is throwing sand in the public’s eyes and at one with the government’s practice of playing down all the heightened military threats to Israel – whether from Syria, the Lebanese Hizballah or the Palestinian Hamas in Gaza.

The IDF’s Northern Command officers report that the Syrian army’s buildup opposite Israel has accelerated in April and warn that its units are arrayed for a quick transition to attack mode.

The link-up between Syria’s 10th and 14th divisions on the border running through Mt Hermon should have been a wake-up call for the government in Jerusalem, they say, and elicited counter-moves to show Damascus that Israel is ready to meet every contingency.

Sunday, April 13, prime minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas met briefly to rough out the position Abbas will put before President George W. Bush whom he meets at the White House in ten days. Olmert made the gesture of licensing the entry to Israel of 5,000 Palestinian construction workers. This gesture was challenged by security services as a carrying the risk of terrorist infiltration and by economic leaders who say the Palestinians will take Israeli jobs.

Re-Judaizing Jesus:  

Christians Returning to Jewish Roots 

MARSHFIELD, Missouri— This week, thousands of Christians worldwide will observe the Jewish Pass- 

over on April 19. “It’s nearly impossible to estimate how many, but in nearly every U.S. city churches are 

hosting Passover Seders and encouraging non-Jewish families to embrace this biblical holiday,” says Boaz 

Michael, messiah magazine editor-in-chief and founder of the messianic educational organization, First 

Fruits of Zion. “I wish we had the data to accurately estimate the number,” says Michael, “because I sus- 

pect it may be even greater than we think.” 

“Christians celebrating Passover isn’t a new phenomenon” says Michael, whose research, publishing and 

media help bible-believing Christians reconnect with the Jewish origins of their faith.  He sees a growing 

modern acceptance of this early historic Christian practice. And he says something is changing. “There is 

a greater desire for a Judaic footing in the teachings of the church today. Twenty years ago Christians par- 

ticipated in the Passover Seder as a fun cultural experience, and then went on their way. But today, many 

are engaging this observance as their own.” 

Will the Jewish spring holiday of Passover replace Christian Easter anytime soon? “Hardly,” says author 

and historian D. Thomas Lancaster, “But it’s a real trend that indicates a growing appreciation that Jesus 

and the apostles were really Jewish, and they did really Jewish things.” 

Lancaster, who recently returned from Israel, leads a messianic synagogue in Hudson, Wisconsin with 

more non-Jewish than Jewish congregants. “Most people in our congregation have mainstream Protestant 

backgrounds. They celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, but they do it in conjunction with Passover” he 

says. 

Traditionally, Passover celebrates the Hebrew deliverance from slavery in Egypt, while Easter celebrates 

deliverance from sin and death as manifest in the resurrection of Jesus. The mutual theme of salvation 

echoes in both.  The two events are linked culturally by the Jewishness of Jesus and historically by the 

timing of the crucifixion and resurrection, which happened during Passover, according to the gospel texts. 

Lancaster thinks the commercialization of Easter, along with Christians’ growing concern over its suspi- 

cious origins, have influenced this trend toward Passover observance, but he sees much more. “Jesus is 

beginning to be re-contextualized back into His proper cultural and historical setting. There are a lot of 

Christians who place a high value on biblical authority, and they’re serious enough to re-examine their 

own practices for authenticity” he says. 

A recent cover story in Time magazine (March 24, 2008) agrees. It noted “Re-Judaizing Jesus” as one of its 

“Ten Ideas That Are Changing the World.” These ideas, according to Time, will have an impact, “more than 

money, more than politics…. ” 

“That’s very true,” says Lancaster, who thinks Time’s assessment is amusing but not surprising. “When 

you read the biblical prophecies of Revelation, Daniel and others within their Jewish contexts, it becomes 

pretty clear that when Jesus returns, He’ll still be Jewish. That’s bound to surprise some people.” 

If the trend toward Passover observance continues for Christians, it may open up new interfaith dialogue 

between Christians and Jews in the “Kosher for Passover” aisle of your local grocery store.

Two Women Stoned: Feminists Mum

Two sisters – identified only as Zohreh and Azar – have been convicted of adultery in Iran. They have now been sentenced to be stoned to death. Adultery is a crime punishable by death in the Islamic Republic of Iran, in accordance with the canons of Islamic Sharia law. The Iranian Supreme Court has upheld the stoning sentence. Zohreh and Azar have already received 99 lashes for “illegal relations.” Yet they were tried again for the same crime, and convicted of adultery on the evidence of videotape that showed them in the presence of other men while their husbands were absent. The video does not show either of them engaging in any sexual activity at all. Their crime is non-existent, their trials a miscarriage of justice, and their sentencing a barbarity. All those who believe in human rights and human dignity should protest against this sentence. We call upon the Islamic Republic of Iran to drop all prosecution of Zohreh and Azar, and to end punishment by stoning. We call upon the Islamic Republic of Iran to end the Sharia-inspired and institutionalized discrimination against women that results in their being treated as chattels of men. We call upon the Islamic Republic of Iran to affirm the equality of dignity of women with men and the equality of rights of all people, women with men, non-Muslims with Muslims, and to implement these principles in their laws. We call upon the United Nations and human rights organizations to redouble their pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran until it ends its war on the rights of women and human rights in general. We call upon feminists, including the signers of the statement drafted by The Nation’s Katha Pollitt, to join us in protesting this outrage. We continue to be stunned but not surprised by the silence of these feminists who have questioned the authenticity of our concern for Muslim women oppressed by the laws of Islam. The feminists who recently complained that the media has falsely represented them as indifferent to the plight of Muslim women have so far been conspicuously indifferent to the plight of Zohreh and Azar. We call upon these feminists in particular to join us in protesting the violence already done to Zohreh and Azar and the death penalty they face. The Islamic Republic of Iran is an oppressor of women. So far American feminists have failed to support their Muslim sisters. We call on them to join us in doing so now.

(Rev.13:16-18) Many speculate as to what this mark will be. Some, however, think this mark will take form as a microchip, others feel this mark is a symbol.  Whatever the case, the point is we will all be tracked and no one will be able to hide.  This ID is a just a sign that we are one step closer!  

PALESTINIANS AND EZEKIEL

Ezekiel 35:10-11 because you have said,”these two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will posses them, although the Lord was there.”  Therefore, as I live, says the Lord God, I will do according to your anger and according to the envy which you showed in your hatred against them; and I will make Myself known among them when I judge you.Ezekiel 36:3 therefore prophecy and say,”Thus says the Lord God: Because they made you desolate and swallowed you up on every side, so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations, and you are taken up by the lips of talkers and slandered by the people”-  God is saying here that these “neighbors” of Israel are attacking and plundering from all sides wanting to take the land for their own and to destroy the Israelites.  However God also says in EZ.36:4-9 that these people (EDOM)(AKA-PALESTINIANS) have taken HIS land as a possession for themselves and He will not tolerate it!  He is on Israels side and He will defend them!
